Chapter 604 works with several service organizations to help
veterans within the Northeast Kansas area. We would like to thank
PRAIRIE BAND POTAWATOMI NATION for their support of our
chapter. Their support allows us to maintain the following projects.

Ice Cream 1st Thursday of the Month at VA
Root Beer Float – 2 times a year at VA
Personnel Care Items Drive at Wall mart on Wanamaker
Food Drive – Wall mart on 37th.
Two Blood Drives
Thanksgiving Dinner for PTSD Wards at VA
Pizza’s for New Year’s Eve for PTSD Wards at VA
Meat & Cheese trays for 4 different Wards at VA
Fall Festival & Spring – games & treats for all Vets at VA
Annual Memorial Day Service at Topeka Cemetery
Restored Vietnam Veterans Memorial at Topeka Cemetery – 10th &
California
Built Vietnam Memorial at Garfield Park
Honor Guard at Washburn University on Veteran’s Day
Honor Guard at funeral when requested
Help veteran’s in need for personal crises
Do sponsorship for different R.O.T.C. Programs
Hold VVA meeting (Vietnam Veteran’s of America) 4th Thursday of the month
Have Informational Booth set up at Go-Fourth, Cider Days, etc.
Sponsor speakers at schools
Fall BBQ for the VA Hospital Vets & Staff
Coffee for PTSD ward VA
